Last week I went to Porto Alegre to attend the BrazilJS Conf 2018. It was an outstanding experience where I could learn a lot about the technologies I work with everyday.

This travel was sponsored the company I work for (Oi) as a way to train and qualify its employees.

Finding a welcoming place to work, where you are free to be creative and challenge yourself everyday is certainly one of the most important things to become a better developer.

I can’t see myself working in a place where I feel oppressed or restrained. Before choosing a new place to work always try to know about the culture, ambience and hierarchy of this company better.
